Recently, we had the opportunity to assist a homeowner in Unicoi, TN, who was facing significant challenges after Hurricane Helene. Here’s a closer look at the situation and how we were able to help.
The homeowner reached out to Residence Roofing & Construction due to leaks in various areas of the house. The damage was primarily caused by the hurricane, which brought severe winds and rain.
A HAAG inspector from our team conducted a thorough inspection of the property. The inspection aimed to identify all damages and assess the state of the roof.
The inspection revealed severe wind damage to the roof. A noticeable hole was found, which necessitated immediate tarping to prevent further water intrusion.
Unfortunately, the homeowner's insurance did not cover the damages. However, FEMA stepped in and approved the necessary roof repairs, addressing the water damage caused by the leaks.
After completing the repairs, the homeowner expressed immense relief and happiness. The successful repair meant the end of the leaks and the restoration of safety in their home.
